TPO is a single-ply roofing membrane made from synthetic polymers (thermoplastic polyolefin) reinforced with a fabric scrim for strength. Introduced in the 1990s, TPO is installed in a single layer over roof insulation on low-slope (flat).

Cutting corners with cheap materials or shoddy workmanship might save a little money upfront, but it almost always leads to problems down the line – leaks, blow-offs, premature deterioration, and costly failures.

Commercial roofing is a different discipline entirely. The materials, code requirements, drainage, and safety protocols differ sharply from residential work.
